The private information required for executing the orders placed through the e-commerce facility, namely your personal information, delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by us and not sold or made known to third parties. Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering the product.
However, due to the nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee that no unauthorised parties will have access to your information and will not be held liable for any loss or damage that you may sustain as a result of unauthorised access to your personal information. Our payment gateways use the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on our site. No credit card transactions are processed on our site. This is to protect you as well as us. We do not have access to your credit card information at all. You will be redirected to our payment gateway after you place your order and will be asked for your credit card information. Once the transaction has successfully gone through, the order will be sent to us and you.
Desperate Households cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the Customer’s electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the Customer may inadvertently have installed on his/her device.
